JOB TITLE: Accounts Assistant

SALARY: £20,000 – £22,000

BENEFITS: 21 days holiday, pension, auto enrolment

Hours are 8:30 – 5:30 Mon to Thu

Friday is 8:30 – 3pm

An Accounts Assistant is required for manufacturer who supply in to the leading Holiday Parks in the UK and Europe and have been at the forefront of the leisure industry for over 30 years.

The company is a growing and progressive business which means this is an exciting time to join the company as they have recently acquired a new factory in Hull as part of a major investment and job creation program in the area.

As the Accounts Assistant, you will report to the Financial Controller and be responsible for;

• Preparation of weekly payroll circa 250 employees – including processing clockings, new starters, input onto timesheet, balancing hours, managing changes, leavers, holiday pay, auto enrolment pension and RTI,
• Completion of Weekly Labour Analysis for the Financial Controller
• Responsible for Sales Ledger Credit Control including daily entering of Sales receipts and responsibility for daily banking
• Purchase invoice matching and processing – to include matching delivery notes to invoices, posting invoices with the help of second Finance Officer and a part time additional assistant
• Responsible for checking Weekly Purchase Ledger Payment Runs
• Managing petty cash transactions
• Completion of PL Statement Reconciliations
• Assist the financial controller cost accountant with various finance projects and initiatives including Monthly management accounts and departmental budgets
• Liaison with auditors
• Liaison and co-ordination with operational departments

To be the successful Accounts Assistant you will have vast experience with processing high level of invoices and weekly payroll.
